Join “Volunteer Adventures with Adults of Additional Need” (VAAAN) for an affordable and authentic “servacation” trip on the North Shore of Boston, Saturday, August 11 – Saturday, August 18.
A small group of 9 young adults (“Pit Crew”) and 3 staff leaders (“Drivers”) will be serving, playing, and living in intentional, guided community. VAAAN emphasizes inter-dependence, service, and connection. VAAAN participants must be at least 18 years old and ready to join in! The week is structured for team-building, life skill development, meaningful service, and fun. The Pit Crew will be responsible for household chores; meal planning, shopping, and cooking; and some group activity decisions. Most days will be spent working in support of a local food pantry.
The cost of $1800 covers the full week rental of a vacation home in Gloucester, transportation, all meals, a culminating fun day, t-shirt, and three, full-time professional staff.
3 monthly payments of $600.00 – OR – Single payment of $1600.00 before June 1 (save $200.00)
First non-refundable payment of $600, completed “VAAN Intake Form”, and “VAAAN Community Contract” (available as links at https://raisingparentsac.com/vaaan/vaaan-forms/ ), and a brief interview with Dr. Dana are required to secure your place on a VAAAN trip. Pit Crew is limited to only 9 members.
